divergent Cloud is finally in testing!

We've been hard at work analysing and implementing everything we learned from our now-legacy version of the divergent Cloud - we've had over 35,000 visitors, 20,000 bookings, and 175,000 emails & SMS sent through the first versions of our platform that were live for just a few months and for a handful of partners - and they're still going strong!
Why is there a NEW divergent Cloud?
We get it - if you're reading this you're probably new to the our world. There's a huge chance that you haven't seen, or even heard of the previous version.
The first version of the divergent Cloud was built alongside a number of partners predominantly as a learning experience and testing platform for some pretty unique technology and customer experience.
Things went AMAZINGLY WELL as evidenced by our front-end products receiving a 99+% satisfaction rate!
We learned a lot from the intense experience of building out the first version of the product, and some of that required us to make some relatively major changes to how things worked for when we want to push it out to the general public. Making some things easier to work together, removing some bits, cleaning up some interactions across multiple systems, improving performance, making things more cost-effective for our customers - it's all in the version you're probably using now.
Here's the kicker - it was always planned to go this way.
Starting with Connect
The divergent Cloud won't be rolling out with all products in 1 go like we did the first time.
Rather, we're starting with divergent Connect, our communications platform.
We've developed a number of brand new features:
Automated Link Shortening (where it would save you credits on send)
Introduction of a brand new Bulk API with templating
In-app Sender Approval for SMS
In-app Domain Authentication process for Emails
AI-Powered Shortening in the case that a multi-credit message can be reduced to save money
New Combined Email & SMS OTP API (also back-ported to legacy for partners - see 📅January 2024 (Legacy))
Things should start releasing to live over the next month as our partner testing concludes.
What's next for existing customers
If you're using just divergent Connect currently, we will move you over to the new platform automatically and guide you through the process as well as what's new.
