Billing

All of our billing is based on a monthly subscription based on your usage in the previous month. More information is below.


How you're billed

You will typically be billed on a monthly basis from the point that you sign up, based on your usage in the previous month.

For example if you signed up to Connect on 1st January and used 500 SMS, you would be billed for those 500 SMS on the 1st of February.

However, we do assign credit limits to each customer as part of the  Business Verification  process. In the case that you breach this credit limit in a month, you may be billed earlier. See "Why did I receive an invoice early?" below for more information.


Payment Methods Available

We support card payments and Direct Debits. All of our payments are processed by Stripe, so if the payment method you wish to use is supported there, we'll be able to bill it.

Obviously we don't support Klarna etc.


Billing Alerts (Limiting your Spend)

Whilst it is not possible to limit your spend directly in the form of a spend cap or otherwise, there is a way to be alerted when your spend in a given month exceeds a given amount.

You can set up a Monthly Cost Alert from within the divergent Cloud (see  https://the.divergent.cloud/ ) against each product.


Mid-Month Invoicing

As part of  Business Verification  we may perform a credit check on your business which also recommends a credit limit for your account.

Your account's credit limit depends on a number of factors and may change over time depending on payment history.

When this credit limit is reached, you will be sent an automatic invoice for that amount immediately even if it is not the end of the month. This does not affect future invoices. You will be sent your standard monthly invoice for any difference on your normal billing date.

If your credit limit was £500 yet your spend in a given month was £750 you would receive 2 invoices for the month. Below is a worked example:

Credit for Testing

Each new customer we verify receives a £5 credit to try out the platform that is applied against any products you subscribe to.

Depending on what you're using, that could last you a long time. That's 166 bookings in Reserve, 181 SMS messages or 5000 emails in Connect.
